Hyalina

Completed my first digital painting and creature design. Hand painted in photoshop and designed by myself right here in my living room.

Designing creatures has become another love of mine. Back to physical painting for my next piece but will definitely be starting the design for a another creature in the new year.

This design took me 80 hours to complete in total. Should be reducing that number greatly on my next piece since trial and error time will be a lot less.

I personally own all credits and rights.

Creature description —
“Hyalina”
Known also as “pale demon” or “bloodless whale”, this ferocious water mammal owns the sea and no one is its predator. At great speed, terrifying power, and massive size rivaling that of the Blue Whale, it easily devours fish, sharks, and even other whales. Despite its size, it boasts incredible agility due to its four fins and compact body design. As a result this animal has been know to wander disturbingly close to shore.
